Gloucester Rugby managing director Ken Nottage has revealed head coach Bryan Redpath has promised him that they will beat Glasgow Warriors at Kingsholm. The Heineken Cup pool match comes just nine days after Gloucester lost 33-11 to the Warriors at Firhill. Nottage told BBC Radio Gloucestershire: "The rebound from it is there appears to be so much determination. "In my discussions with Bryan Redpath he has openly said 'I can guarantee we will beat Glasgow at the weekend'." Gloucester are currently bottom of pool two, having won only one of their three games so far. | You really do need to win more games than we're capable of doing, but it's never over until it's over |
French side Biarritz have a nine-point lead at the top of the group table, but only one point separates the Newport-Gwent Dragons who are second and Gloucester in fourth. Nottage also concedes making the quarter finals is unlikely, but insists Gloucester will not give up. "You really do need to win more games than we're capable of doing, but it's never over until it's over," he said.
