Exeter City boss Paul Tisdale refused to be dispirited after his side lost to Bristol Rovers, despite dominating for large periods of the game.
The Grecians went down 1-0 to Rovers at the Memorial Stadium on Tuesday, but the visitors hit the woodwork twice.
"You've got to have the wherewithal to put that all to one side and just admire the way we played," Tisdale told BBC Devon.
"We matched them in everything, we just didn't win, but that's life.

"If we play like that so many times, we're going to come out winning more than we lose.
"I'm proud of the players, they're hurting, but they're hurt just with circumstances - it's life, it's sport and it's onto the next."
Exeter play Brighton at St James Park on Saturday and Tisdale admits returning home will provide some welcome relief.
"We've had a long run of games away from home.
"We've played extremely well and haven't quite got what we deserved, but we're going to get better and better - I'm sure of it."
