Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale is refusing to get carried away ahead of the Grecians' forthcoming campaign in League One.
Having taken Exeter to two successive promotions, Tisdale warned that even tougher challenges lie ahead.
"We're getting to the point now where the quality of players and the status of the teams we're up against will make our job harder," said Tisdale.
Exeter start against Leeds United at Elland Road on Saturday (1500 BST).
And, with other former Premier League clubs including Charlton, Southampton and Norwich also plying their trade in League One next term, the Exeter boss is cautious of being over optimistic.
Tisdale told BBC Spotlight: "The hard thing this year is that our budget is going to be more and more strained against the financial position of some of our opponents.
"One thing is for sure, it's going to be a real challenge. And, if we do make mistakes this year, we'll be punished more than we were in League Two."
You can often forget if you've got a good thing going on and until I'm persuaded otherwise, I'm happy with what I'm doing

However, Tisdale's record of success and pragmatic attitude as a manager will give the Grecians a strong platform from which to build.
"I can only approach the season in the same way I approach every season," said Tisdale, "which is to try and improve every player that we have.
"Then I have to make sure that we stick to the budget and do business correctly and thirdly, focus on results."
Tisdale, widely regarded as a rising star in the managerial world, was linked to vacancies at both Southampton and Reading during the summer.
