Daish was caretaker manager at Welling before joining Ebbsfleet
Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish insists his five years at Stonebridge Road have been "good fun".
Daish, who led the Fleet to FA Trophy success at Wembley in 2008, now finds himself embroiled in a relegation dogfight in the Blue Square Premier.
The 41-year-old former Republic of Ireland international said: "There have been more ups than downs.
"There's been a name change and a takeover while I've served five chairmen. It's been good fun."
The Fleet's fight to retain Blue Square Premier status has been hit by the possibility that Chester could have their record expunged after failing to fulfil Tuesday's fixture at Forest Green.
Daish's side won 2-1 at Chester on Saturday leaving, but could face losing those points.
He said: "If they can't fulfil a fixture they are in trouble and their record could be expunged.
"That would be bad news for a lot of clubs, including ourselves, who have taken points off them."
