Ebbsfleet have extended the loan deal of Charlton Athletic midfielder Alex Stavrinou until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old made his debut in Fleet's first win in 14 games and has helped to win four of his six matches.

Meanwhile, Fleet manager Liam Daish is hoping to sign a new striker in the next few days to boost a team that have scored just 21 goals in 27 games.

"Something could happen before or over the weekend. We're quite close now," he told BBC Radio Kent.

"I'm just waiting back on that person. If it happens before the weekend then great. If not, I'll wait until the beginning of next week."
