Charlton make loan market moves

Charlton Athletic

Charlton Athletic midfielder Alex Stavrinou has signed for Ebbsfleet.

And the Addicks have allowed another of their midfielders, Dean Sinclair, to return on loan to Barnet, from where he signed for Charlton in August 2007.

Meanwhile, Charlton extended a deal for Reading striker David Mooney, who has scored in two of the last three games.

Carl Ikeme, who kept goal for Charlton in the last four league games, has returned to Wolves only to be loaned straight out to Sheffield United.

Ebbsflett boss Liam Daish beat the deadline by just 15 minutes to sign 19-year-old Stavrinou, who has represented Cyprus at youth level.

He has featured in two games for Charlton's first team, both this season.

He made his debut, playing the full 90 minutes, in the 1-0 Carling Cup defeat at Hereford in August. And he also appeared as a second-half substitute in the 4-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Barnet in October.
