Peter Holmes eased the pressure on under-fire Ebbsfleet manager Liam Daish with a second-half winner against high-flying Mansfield Town.
Fleet, who had not scored in eight games, went ahead through Magno Vieira, who volleyed home a Ricky Shakes cross.
The Stags levelled when Rob Duffy notched from the penalty spot after Gavin Heeroo handled.
But Vieira, who later had a penalty saved by Alan Marriott, teed up Holmes and he scored from close range.
