Eastbourne Borough manager Garry Wilson has hailed his team's response to their opening day defeat by Tamworth.
The Sports lost 4-2 on Saturday but beat Hayes and Yeading 5-0 on Tuesday, their biggest win since promotion to Blue Square Bet Premier two years ago.
Wilson told BBC Sussex: "We were disappointed with our performance on Saturday and were looking for a response. We certainly got it.
"It was one of the most accomplished performances here for a long time."
He added: "I didn't expect the team to be as positive as that. We've changed a few things and it paid dividends."

Wilson picked out young forward Ross Treleavan for praise after a man of the match performance.
"Ross was excellent. We don't want to put too much pressure on his shoulders at this moment in time. He's still learning," he said.
"We've given him an opportunity to show us what he can do and he's certainly taken it."
