Newcastle United manager Kevin Keegan is relishing a return to his hometown club of Doncaster Rovers on Saturday.
Rovers host the Magpies in a pre-season friendly and Keegan has told BBC Radio Sheffield he expects to enjoy himself.
"I've not been to the new stadium, I believe it's excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing that and seeing some old friends, and it'll be a good game."
Keegan says he admires Doncaster's approach: "Rovers are a footballing side, they do get it down and play."
One of the Rovers players Keegan has watched closely is James Coppinger.
A product of the Newcastle youth system, Keegan says the 27-year old midfielder has "reinvented himself" since being released by the Tyneside club:
"He was their best player (in the play-offs) and got a hat-trick in one of the games.
"He's now one league away from playing Premiership football that was denied to him first time round."
