Barnsley manager Simon Davey has rubbished newspaper reports claiming that he has been given three games to save his job.
"I don't read the papers, as far as I'm concerned I just get on with my job," said Davey.
Reds owner Patrick Cryne told BBC Radio Sheffield: "There is absolutely no truth to the stories."
"I speak to Patrick on a daily basis and have definitely not been given that ultimatium," Davey added.
Barnsley have had a poor start to the season having lost their first four matches this season against Birmingham, Coventry, Crewe and QPR.
