Barnsley have completed the signing of Derby County winger Gary Teale on a one-month loan deal.
The 30-year-old Scottish international made 18 appearances for the Rams in the Premier League last season.
However he fell out of favour and ended the season on loan at Plymouth, where he made 12 appearances.
"We are delighted to have brought Gary into the squad. He has experience of winning promotions," Barnsley manager Simon Davey told the club's website.
Teale, who began his career with Clydebank before joining Ayr, joined Wigan in 2000 and went on to make over 150 appearances.
He joined Derby County in 2007 and helped them gain promotion to the top flight.
Teale is expected to go straight into the squad for Saturday's game against Coventry City.
