Doncaster Rovers have signed Leeds striker Tomi Ameobi for an appearance related fee.
Ameobi, 19, made one first-team start when he played against Portsmouth in the Carling Cup last term and made 10 further appearances as a substitute.
Leeds boss Gary McAllister told the club website: "Opportunities would have been limited for Toni this season.
The former academy player spent the end of the last campaign on loan with Scunthorpe United.
Ameobi, who is brother of Newcastle's Shola, came through Leeds United's academy.
"He's impressed in training and our week away," Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"He's one for the future, he has a presence about him, I think we can develop him into a quality player."
