Derby County coach Gary Crosby says the Rams squad is taking shape for next season with the club having already agreed deals with four players.
Defenders Gareth Roberts and John Brayford, midfielder James Bailey and striker Tomasz Cywka have all agreed terms to come to Pride Park.
Crosby told the club website: "The pressure is off a bit because we have done some of the deals we wanted to do.
"We'll take our time on another striker to make sure we get the right one."
Crosby added that the club's fortunes next season would still be determined by luck with injuries to some extent.
"To start with, we would like to start the season with not so many injuries and we'll take it from there," he said.
"We hope the vast majority will be fit, give or take Miles Addison and Stephen Pearson who have long-term injuries."
