Shaun Miller has scored four goals in his last five matches for Crewe
Crewe Alexandra striker Shaun Miller has set his sights on ending the season as the top scorer in League Two.
Miller, 23, netted his 12th goal of the campaign in Crewe's 2-1 victory over local rivals Port Vale on Saturday.
Strike partner Clayton Donaldson has 13 league goals, leaving him just three behind Rotherham's Adam Le Fondre.
"We're right up there so we're just going to keep doing what we're doing and keep banging them in," Alsager-born Miller told BBC Radio Stoke.
Miller has already beaten his best-ever season's tally of seven, which he has reached in each of the last two seasons.
The win against Vale was Crewe's fourth win in five games and propelled them to within three points of the automatic promotion places in League Two.
"There's bags of confidence within the side and we know that we can beat any team in the league," Miller added.
"It was a really poor performance against Torquay (a game Crewe lost 2-1) but we've beaten a lot of the teams up there and most definitely we can stay up there."
