Crewe Alexandra striker Calvin Zola wanted by clubs
Zola scored 21 goals in 52 league starts for Crewe
Crewe Alexandra striker Calvin Zola is wanted by another League Two club, BBC Radio Stoke reports.
The 25-year-old Congolese forward, who has scored one goal in six games this season, has already turned down a loan move to Southend for personal reasons.
His contract expires next summer and he is being allowed to go out on loan after losing his place.
Alex boss Dario Gradi said: "We have someone else wanting to take him and hopefully that will suit Calvin."
Zola, who joined Crewe from Tranmere for £200,000 in 2008, said: "I was really surprised to find out I could go on loan. I wasn't expecting that, but I have a young family and if I move it has to be right for them as well."
He remained on the bench throughout the 5-5 draw at Chesterfield on Saturday and has missed out on the starting XI for the last four games.
And Gradi said: "We are covered up there at the moment so he can go out on loan. The budget is always a consideration. It's not always about the players, it's sometimes about keeping to budgets."
