Ada (l) and Mitchel-King both joined Crewe from Conference side Histon
Crewe manager Dario Gradi says Mat Mitchel-King and Patrick Ada do feature in his plans for next season.
The defensive duo were both signed by former boss Gudjon Thordarson from non-league Histon in the summer of 2009.
"They're not out of the reckoning, either of them," the 68-year-old told BBC Radio Stoke.
"They came out of non-league football last year and I think they've improved since then. That time off in the summer will improve them as well."
Of the 24 teams in League Two, only Accrington Stanley and Darlington let in more goals than the Alex, who conceded 73 times in 46 league matches last season.
Mitchel-King started 31 league games and also captained the side on several occasions, although niggling injuries prevented him from playing more in his first season in the Football League.
There's no real room for manoeuvre, we've got enough players

Ada was a regular in the team under Thordarson, but struggled for first-team football following the dismissal of the former Iceland manager in October.
Gradi is looking to strengthen his defence, following the departure of John Brayford to Championship side Derby.
"It's not an emergency, but if we can bring in someone that's going to ensure that we'll concede fewer goals, we'll do it," he added.
"Otherwise there's no real room for manoeuvre, we've got enough players. Unless there's some movement out, there won't be any more movement in."
Crewe have signed midfielder Lee Bell from Macclesfield and Antoni Sarcevic from Woodley Sports since the end of the season.
