Calvin Zola's wonder strike for Crewe against Bradford
Crewe Alexandra striker Calvin Zola has described his wonder strike against Bradford on Saturday as his best ever.
The 24-year-old netted from an almost impossible angle to open the scoring, and added a second as the Alex went on to win 3-2 at Valley Parade.
"It's probably the best goal of my career," Zola told BBC Radio Stoke.
"It's something to tell my kids about in the future and I hopefully I can get a few more like that. It's great for my confidence and it made me feel good."
Crewe ended a run of five straight defeats in League Two with their victory in West Yorkshire, their first points since the sacking of Gudjon Thordarson on 2 October.
Congo international Zola, who now has 10 goals this season, will be hoping to continue his blistering form when Crewe take on local rivals Port Vale on Saturday.
"Derbies are massive things in English football and both teams are coming off good wins," he added.
"It's going to be a tight game, but we're at home so we've got to try and make the most out of it."
Zola joined Crewe from Tranmere for £200,000 in the summer of 2008 but managed just five goals as the Alex were relegated to League Two for the first time in 15 years.
