Jones has made 55 appearances in all competitions for Crewe
Crewe defender Billy Jones has told BBC Radio Stoke he does not want to leave the League One strugglers, despite rumours linking him with a transfer.
Jones has been a regular in the first team since joining from Exeter in 2007.
The 25-year-old told BBC Radio Stoke: "I don't know where the stories have come from. I've enjoyed my time here and everyone has been good to me."
"I've got a year left on my contract so as far as I know I'll be playing here at Crewe next season."
Jones admitted he initially found it difficult to settle in South Cheshire, but his family are now happy in the area and would find it hard to move away.
He added: "It was hard leaving family behind but that's football, you have to get on with it.
"I've just started a family of my own, my girlfriend understands the situation about being in football so I'm more than happy where I am and with how I'm playing."
Jones has made 55 appearances in league and cup for Crewe, scoring one goal.
