Crewe Alexandra will get relegated if they continue to lose away matches, according to manager Gudjon Thordarson.
Thordarson's side slipped to a 12th away defeat of the season against Leyton Orient on Saturday.
He told BBC Radio Stoke: "We still have a long way to go but we need to make sure we pick up points away from home.
"After good wins at home, I thought we could approach this game in a more aggressive way. We have to pick ourselves up for Southend on Tuesday."
He added: "If there's any positives that you can take from the game, it's the amount of chances that we created, but we did not take them."

Their solitary away win in League One was a 4-1 victory at Hartlepool on 28 December.
Crewe's next match is also away from home, against play-off contenders Southend on Tuesday, 17 February.
