Port Vale midfielder Louis Dodds has said his team need more bottle following their 2-0 defeat by Brentford at Griffin Park on Saturday.
Dodds told BBC Radio Stoke: "We started slowly again and I thought we were no less than disgraceful.
"I know they're top of the league but that's what we're aiming for next season so we need to match them.
"We have got to have the bottle to get up there, I was guilty of it too. They may be harsh words, but they're true."

And Dodds added: "We beat Chester, drew at Morecambe, had a couple of games called off and then came to Brentford and played poorly.
"It's been the story of our season. If we make ourselves more consistent we'll turn into a decent team, but until we do that, we're not."
