Jutkiewicz is Aidy Boothroyd's sixth signing of the summer

Coventry City have signed striker Lukas Jutkiewicz from Everton for an undisclosed fee.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Toffees in 2007, has moved to the Ricoh Arena on a three-year contract.

Jutkiewicz, who scored 12 goals last season while on loan at Motherwell, began aged 17 at Swindon and helped the Robins win promotion to League One.

Sky Blues manager Aidy Boothroyd said: "We wanted to enhance our attacking options and he will do that."

Boothroyd added: "We are delighted to have Lukas on board. He is the right age too, to grow and develop with Coventry City."

Jutkiewicz made his Everton debut in the 2008/9 season and has also enjoyed loan spells at Plymouth and Huddersfield.
