Coventry Bears need just one more point to seal the Rugby League Conference Midlands Premier title after beating Leicester Storm on Saturday. Centre Kurt Johnson scored two tries as the Bears overcame their rivals 36-18 at Old Coventrians RFC. John Nichols, Nathan Tilsley, Karl Wesley and Scott Clendinning-Fenton also scored for Coventry. The Bears now have the chance to clinch the title at home this Saturday when they face Gloucestershire Warriors.
