Morrison will captain the side for the last three games this season
Coventry striker Clinton Morrison will captain the side for the rest of the campaign after Scot Dann's season was ended after sustaining a groin injury.
Morrison, 29, signed in the summer from Crystal Palace and has scored 11 times for the Sky Blues this season.
"I have to do a job and I will never complain, as long as I am in the starting eleven," Morrison told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire.
"I will always be happy to do well and give my best for Coventry."
Morrison captained the side earlier in the season when Dann was sidelined with an injury.
Coventry entertain Barnsley on Tuesday.
Chris Coleman's side have gone five games without a win and have only scored once in 450 minutes but Coleman is determined to end the season on a high.
Coleman said: "We need to do something with these remaining three games, finish as high as we can but from now till the end of the season, we still have a job to do."
Morrison is urging his team-mates to end their winless run starting against strugglers Barnsley at the Ricoh Arena.
"If the going get's tough, I will still try to get on the ball and the men down here have to stand up and be counted for," added Morrison.
