Coventry City striker Clinton Morrison has said he was pleased to get his first goal for the club.

The former Crystal Palace striker, who joined on a free transfer earlier this month, was on the scoresheet in the 3-1 win over Aldershot in the Carling Cup.

He told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire: "You worry you want to get off the mark for your new club so it is pleasing to score goals.

"I have confidence to score goals and have done it on numerous occasions."
