Top two Worcestershire and Warwickshire shared the points as rain prevented play for the second day in succession at New Road and the match was drawn.

Leaders Worcestershire had been in the better position after two days, 133 runs ahead with nine wickets intact.

They were deducted two points, however, for bowling a slow overrate and their lead over the Bears is 16 points.

With two matches remaining, Worcester need a further 25 points to guarantee an immediate return to the top flight.
