Morrison scored 16 goals in 45 league appearances for Palace last season
Coventry City have signed Republic of Ireland international striker Clinton Morrison on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old has signed a two-year deal with the Sky Blues and goes into the squad for Saturday's season-opener against Norwich.
Morrison told the club's official website: "I am delighted to finally have got a deal done.
"I can score goals at this level and now I am looking forward to doing that for Coventry."
The former Crystal Palace man also said he was looking forward to linking up with some former team-mates.
"Me and Leon McKenzie were strike partners at Palace and he has been calling me all the time telling me I should sign so I am really pleased"
Manager Chris Coleman told the club's website he was delighted to bring Morrison to the Ricoh Arena.
"Obviously it is fantastic we have managed to get Clinton over the line, we've made no secret of the fact we wanted him to join us. He is a proven goalscorer in the Championship."
