Coventry City have signed teenage midfielder Lee Sawyer from Chelsea on a 28-day loan.

The 19-year-old will be with the Sky Blues until Sunday 22 February but will not be eligible to play in the FA Cup.

Sawyer has been with the Chelsea since the age of eight and has also played for England at under-18 level.

He spent three months on loan with League One side Southend United earlier this season, scoring three goals in 12 starts and one substitute appearance.
