BBC Essex is the official broadcast partner of Colchester and Southend

BBC Essex will have full match commentary on every Colchester United and Southend United league and cup match this season.

95.3 FM will be the home of every Southend game, starting with Saturday's match against Huddersfield Town.

Colchester United will be on 103.5 FM, opening with a League One trip to Norwich City.

BBC Essex will also provide coverage of Dagenham & Redbridge, and will be at every one of their games too.

BBC Essex managing editor Gerald Main said: "Whatever type of season it will be, we will be there home and away.

"We're delighted that we've managed to secure these rights and we're raring to go."

BBC Essex Sport returns on Saturday, 8 August from 1400 to 1800 BST on 95.3 and 103.5 FM and 729, 765 and 1530 MW.
