Keltie spent seven seasons at Darlington before joining Rochdale
Chester City have signed midfielder Clark Keltie, initially on a month's loan, from League Two side Rochdale.
The 26-year-old may go straight into the City side for Sunday's derby against local rivals Wrexham at the Racecourse Ground.
Keltie, who hails from Newcastle, spent seven seasons at Darlington before a move to Rochdale in 2008.
Keltie, who can play in a number of positions, has more than 200 career appearances to date, scoring 11 goals.
Meanwhile, Chester have employed London barrister Jonathan Crystal to handle their appeal against 15 of the 25 points they were deducted at the start of the season.
Crystal, who in the past has been a director at Tottenham Hotspur, is an expert in sports litigation.
