Rochdale have released seven players and placed another three on the transfer list after losing in the League Two play-off semi-finals.
James Spencer, Mark Jones, Sam Russell, Nathan D'Laryea, Scott Wiseman, Lee Thorpe and Tom Newey have been let go.
Clark Keltie, Lee McEvilly and Kallum Higginbotham have all been told they can find new clubs.
Midfielders Gary Jones, Joe Thompson and Ciaran Toner have all been offered new deals by manager Keith Hill.
