Jeff Goulding eyes Cheltenham Town Southampton cup tie
Goulding has scored six goals so far in League Two this season
Cheltenham striker Jeff Goulding hopes to escape the boo-boys at Southampton despite being an ex-Bournemouth man.
The 26-year-old is likely to lead his side's attack in Saturday's FA Cup second round tie at St Mary's stadium.
"I could make a few Bournemouth fans happy over this weekend," Goulding told BBC Radio Gloucestershire.
"I didn't play too much for Bournemouth over the last couple of years, so I'm probably not really known down there, but it'd be nice to make them know."
During his two seasons with Bournemouth, Goulding played against Southampton in friendlies and reserve matches at Dean Court, but never at St Mary's.
But he believes Cheltenham's on-loan midfielder Marlon Pack will come in for more stick from the home fans.
"I'm sure he will, coming from Portsmouth, he'll get a few boos, but that's what we're in the game for," Goulding said.
"It's always a compliment when people are booing you - it means that you're somebody. There's no real pressure on us, everyone expects Southampton to win, but we don't see it like that.
"We're on a good run of form and we're really looking to stamp our authority on the game and hopefully get a result."
