Allen brought in 20 different players during the 2008-09 season
Martin Allen insists his Cheltenham Town squad is strong enough to cope following the injury to Michael Pook.
Scans have confirmed that the 23-year-old midfielder damaged his medial knee ligaments in the draw at Hereford and is set to be out for around a month.
"There won't be another player coming in," Allen told BBC Gloucestershire.
"I've got players that can play in different positions, it's something we worked hard on through the summer, fitting in wherever they're put."
He added: "Everybody knows how to play the different positions and what's required."
