Charlton Athletic have completed the double signing of MK Dons striker Izale McLeod and China captain Zheng Zhi. McLeod, 22, joins for an initial fee of 1.1m - which could rise to 1.55m - and has signed a four-year deal.
Versatile Zheng, 26, has signed a permanent two-year deal from Chinese side Shandong Luneng for 1.25m - rising to 2m on appearances.
Boss Alan Pardew said: "I'm deighted. Izzy is ready for the step up and Zizi's return is a huge boost."
Zheng, who can play up front or in midfield, enjoyed a successful loan spell at the Valley last season.
But Pardew was particularly excited by the capture of McLeod.
"I felt in the group of strikers that we had, we lacked someone with genuine speed and pace to stretch teams," Pardew told the club's website.
"Izzy is going to offer us that and I also feel that he is ready to for the step up."
McLeod, who handed in a transfer request this summer, scored 24 goals in League Two last season and has scored 54 league goals in 105 starts for the Dons since signing from Derby three years ago.
The pair will join Luke Varney, Chris Iwelumo and Svetoslav Todorov in Charlton's new-look strikeforce.
