Carlisle United striker Francois Zoko has signed an 18-month extension to his contract at Brunton Park.
The Ivorian 27-year-old has impressed boss Greg Abbott since signing a permanent deal during the summer, scoring five goals in 23 games.
"Francois has become a bit of a favourite with the fans because of the way he approaches the game," Abbott told the club website.
"When he is on form he is really difficult to deal with."
Abbott added: "We think that there is still more to come from him and we're delighted that he has decided to stay with us.
The former Ivory Coast under-23 international spent the majority of his career in France prior to his move to England in July.
"I have really enjoyed my time with Carlisle United and I am happy to stay," Zoko said.
"We have played some good football and got some good results, and there is a real ambition for the club to go further.
"I want to help as much as I can with that, so it is good that we have got all of this agreed."
