Wright returns for a second spell at Derwent Park

Workington Comets have signed Birmingham Brummies rider James Wright to their roster for the 2011 Premier League season.

Wright, 24, rode for the Comets for three seasons before moving to Swindon Robins in 2008 and team boss Keith Denham is delighted by his return.

"James jumped at the chance to ride for Workington," Denham said.

"He's returning to where he started his Premier League career and is excited about the prospects for next season."

Wright will continue to ride at number eight for the Brummies when his Comets commitments allow it.
