Carlisle boss Greg Abbott demands repeat of cup form
Abbott's side are currently 15th in League One
Carlisle boss Greg Abbott believes his side must respond to their Everton defeat in the FA Cup by displaying the same hunger in League One games.
The Blues were a threat to the Premier League side throughout and Abbott wants his players' performance levels to match those shown at Goodison Park.
"We've got great spirit and great potential," he told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We've got to get back down to earth, this performance will mean nothing if we don't get a result at Millwall."
The trip to Merseyside was the last in a three-month loan for Chelsea midfielder Tom Taiwo who has become a fans favourite at Brunton Park with his displays at the heart of the Carlisle side.
The futures of on-loan Manchester City midfielder Adam Clayton and striker Vincent Pericard remain in the balance and Abbott is coy about the possibility of them staying on.
"We're going to talk about all that [on Monday] and hopefully we'll have some good news on that situation."
Taiwo and Clayton are on loan deals, while Pericard signed a short-term deal in October 2009.
