Crow was named 2010 BBC Radio Cambridgeshire player of the year
Cambridge striker Danny Crow says he is hopeful of a new deal at the Abbey.
The 24-year-old former Peterborough man, who joined in September 2008, has scored 19 league goals this season, but is out of contract in the summer.
He told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I hope we can agree something as the club have shown a lot of faith in me.
"I haven't had any offers yet, including from Cambridge. I've enjoyed this season and it's a good club, but I'll have to see what I'm offered."
After a difficult first season with the U's, Crow has become a pivotal figure during the current campaign.
He was named as BBC Radio Cambridgeshire's player of the year for 2010 prior to last Saturday's match against Hayes and Yeading.
U's boss Martin Ling is set to reveal his retained list on Monday with only Paul Carden, Robbie Willmott and Dave Partridge currently signed up for next season.
"I'll name who I want to keep, but I won't necessarily get to keep all the players I want to keep," Ling said.
"Your quality players will always have options, be it Danny Crow, Brian Saah or anyone else, but we have to prove to them that the club is moving forward, we want them here and they want to be here."
Ling knows he may face a fight to hold onto Crow in particular, but is confident that the U's will be able to put together a competitive package.
"I don't know if we will have enough to persuade him stay - it all depends which other clubs come in for him," he said.
"Danny lives in Norwich so it's a good location for him and he enjoys playing for this club, but I won't lose any sleep over it because this sort of situation is always coming up in football."
Meanwhile, Ling has ruled out announcing any new signings on Monday, but says he is chasing targets and is hoping to do his business early.
He has been strongly linked with a move for out-of-contract Histon striker Danny Wright.
"We need a Danny Wright type of player in terms of physique, but I need to decide what I'm doing with my own squad first," he said.
