Cambridge United loanee Jai Reason said he is keen to continue making an impact at the Abbey.
The 19-year-old has been a revelation since joining the U's in February and agreed a one-month extension to his loan deal from Ipswich on Tuesday.
Reason told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I'm loving every minute of playing for Cambridge and showing what I'm about.
"It's a chance to prove a few people wrong and I'm turning heads so it's all going well."
Reason has started seven matches since making the move from Portman Road and has formed a formidable partnership with captain Paul Carden in central midfield.
The Ipswich academy product had never made a professional appearance before joining the U's on loan.
Cambridge are unbeaten in their last nine league matches, moving up to second in the Blue Square Premier table.
Reason's contract at Portman Road runs out in the summer, and he admits he has given no thought to his future past the end of the season.
"I don't know what the future holds, I'll need to sit down with Cambridge and the gaffer at Ipswich," he said.
"I haven't been on the losing side as yet and we're focused on reaching the play-offs and winning promotion."
