| Wednesday, 5 February, 2003, 12:25 GMT Preece's Bury warning Bury boss Andy Preece believes his side will only have themselves to blame if they fail to secure an instant return to Division Two. The Shakers moved into the final automatic promotion place after coming from behind to win at Cambridge United with two late goals on Tuesday. "Results have gone our way again and we are back in third place. It just goes to show that you can never give in." said Preece. Bury have now won six of their last 11 games and Preece added: "If we were to lose out on promotion then it would be our own doing. "We have to consolidate our position at the moment and get a clear space between us and the chasing pack," he told the club's website. |
