Bury have decided not to renew Liam George's monthly contract when it expires on Saturday.

The striker has made just one substitute appearance this month, and the Shakers' financial difficulties have left player-boss Andy Preece with little option but to release players. The former Luton striker has been on a month-by-month deal at Gigg Lane since August.
