Coyle wants his players to show the same commitment against Blackpool
Burnley manager Owen Coyle insisted he knew it would only be a matter of time before his side picked up their first league win of the season.
The Clarets beat Nottingham Forest 2-1 on Saturday and Coyle said he had recently seen signs of improvement.
"We knew it was only round the corner," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"It's down to strength of character and belief that the group have got, and I'm delighted for them because they've worked really hard for it."
Any relative success you get in terms of winning games you'll get as a group

He added: "Ideally we wanted to do it from day one. But there's no magic wand because it's hard work and it's players trying to take on board the knowledge you're trying to impart.
"They've all shown they want to be part of it, which is important.
"It's never going to be about 11 players. Any relative success you get in terms of winning games you'll get as a group."
