Graham Alexander scored twice to secure Burnley's first league win of the season as they beat Nottingham Forest.
The visitors took the lead on 25 minutes when Alexander curled in a superb shot from well outside the box.
Forest equalised when Steven Caldwell headed the ball onto his own crossbar and Robert Earnshaw was first to react and poked home the equaliser.
But Burnley won it when Wes Morgan was adjudged to have handled in the box and Alexander scored the penalty.
Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood: "The referee may have got the penalty wrong. There was no deliberate attempt to handle the ball.
"I don't think we did much wrong to be beaten because there was a good energy about us. The players worked very hard."
Burnley boss Owen Coyle: "I decided to use Graham in front of the back four as I know if he gets on the ball he can pass it. I was pleased for him and the team.
"We've got our first league win and it will give the players a lot of heart and confidence for the games ahead."
