Bristol Rovers set to loan out Dominic Blizzard

Bristol Rovers are trying to loan out midfielder Dominic Blizzard to give him some playing time, boss Paul Trollope has revealed.

The 27-year-old has featured in just four games this season and was left out of the squad for Rovers' 2-1 FA Cup defeat by Darlington on Saturday.

"He's become quite frustrated with his lack of opportunities," Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol.

"So we're going to listen to offers to get him some first team action."

Blizzard arrived from Stockport County on a free transfer in July last year and has made 36 league appearances.

He started Rovers' 3-0 league defeat by Peterborough in August and their humiliating 6-1 thrashing by Oxford United in the Carling Cup three days later.

His last appearance came in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Aldershot over a month ago.
