Bristol Rovers first-team coach Paul Trollope has said his side's defence must improve following Saturday's 3-2 defeat at Millwall.
The defeat at the New Den extended the Pirates winless run to six games and leaves them 15th in League One.
Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol: "Defensively, some players are not up to speed, but some are getting there.
"All three goals were avoidable, it's not rocket science, we need to be better in defensive situations."

However, despite Rovers' recent bad run of results, Trollope said he is happy with some aspects of their play.
"We dominated large spells of the game with Millwall with some good attacking play," said Trollope.
"We scored two goals against a side that haven't conceded for a number of matches.
"In terms of our passing and movement, we're producing a level of football that is the best in the time that I've been in the job," he added.
