Rickie Lambert has 17 goals, including four against Southend in October.
Bristol Rovers striker Rickie Lambert says it would be "amazing" to break the club record for league goals in a season but that it is a long way off.
The 26-year-old has 17 goals, more than half way to breaking Geoff Bradford's 55-year-old record of 33.
Lambert told BBC Radio Bristol: "If I actually broke it, it would be amazing - it's a great record.
"To get past 30 would be amazing. But I'm only on 17. There's a long way to go. I just concentrate on each game."
Lambert joined Rovers from Rochdale in August 2006 and scored 19 goals last season. The Liverpool-born forward has also played for Macclesfield and Stockport.
