Trollope took over as Rovers boss in September 2005

Bristol Rovers first-team coach Paul Trollope has dismissed speculation linking him and Lennie Lawrence with the vacant manager's job at Charlton.

The Addicks have been without a manager since Alan Pardew left in November.

"We've got a job to do here and we have a huge amount of unfinished business," Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol.

"Where these stories come from you never know, but it doesn't affect me and I know it doesn't affect (director of football) Lennie."
