Wayne Andrews will not take part in Bristol Rovers' pre-season tour of Sweden, but instead head to Lilleshall.

The striker, who is on trial at Rovers, is recovering from the knee injury he picked up on loan last season.

"He might have pushed himself a bit too hard," first team coach Paul Trollope told the club's website. "A week at Lilleshall will be a huge benefit."

"We are hopeful that we can sign Wayne because he is the main one we want in the building."
