Bristol Rovers hope to sign striker Wayne Andrews if the player proves his fitness during pre-season.
The 30-year-old is recovering from a knee injury he picked up playing for Rovers on loan last season.
"Wayne has joined us for training with a view to signing," first-team coach Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol.
"His rehab has gone fine so we'll see how he goes and let the doctor take a look at him. He's fitted in well and we like what we've seen of him."
