Bristol City midfielder Marvin Elliott has signed a new three-year deal at Ashton Gate.
The 24-year-old midfielder signed the new contract on his return from a holiday in Jamaica.
Local and national media linked Premier League sides Fulham and Wolves with the player during the close season.
"At the moment I'm concentrating on getting myself as fit and ready as possible for pre-season training," Elliott told the club website.
He added: "I've signed the contract and I am happy it is all sorted."
After all the stories in the press, City boss Gary Johnson claims their was never any doubt about Elliott staying at Ashton Gate.
"Marvin's seen all the speculation but nothing's come to is officially. There was never a question of him signing a new contract," he said.
"Credit should go to him and to the club. I'm delighted he's signed a new deal with us."
Elliott made 29 appearances last season scoring on three occasions.
