Marvin Elliott has quashed rumours he is set to join top-flight Portsmouth during the transfer window by declaring his commitment to Bristol City. The 23-year-old midfielder, who only joined City from Millwall in the summer, scored his fifth goal of the season in the 2-1 win against Coventry.
"I wouldn't know anything about that," Elliott told BBC Radio Bristol of the speculation. "I'm loving it at Bristol.
"I've only been here five months and I absolutely love it."
Marvin Elliott was edged out by fellow goalscorer Darren Byfield as your man of the match in Bristol City's win over Coventry with a BBC Sport Player Rater mark of 7.62.
